Mommy Need A Minute
Mommy Need A Minute is a series of small networking events hosted in the Chicago area. Parents that are looking to connect and network are invited. If you enjoy having a good time, this is the event for you. Each event takes place near national holidays established to celebrate parenting. By attending this event, you leave with an impactful networking experience including Development gift bags, mimosas and great food!

Mother’s Day Isn’t Just In May started as an event hosted every 2nd Saturday in October. Providing wellness activities, music, comedians, food and vendors, it offered mother’s the opportunity to feel celebrated.
Now, it is a workforce development program focusing on the reduction of recidivism via STEM. It offers career and job placement opportunities for single parents by introducing STEM certificate sponsorship via Career Circle.
Scholarship Opportunities
Our scholarship program is funded by our partners within the community. With their contributions we are able to offer the following scholarships annually:
Up to $250 in college application fee assistance for high school seniors.
Up to $500 in college enrollment fee assistance for high school seniors.
$1000 scholarships to single mother's seeking higher education.
